Honda will resume motorcycle and power product production at its Kumamoto Factory on Monday March 28. The company will also be providing 1,000 generators and 5,000 gas canisters for aid, and matching aid will be given for the victims of the tsunami in Japan. Honda also said that with the majority of parts and vehicles being produced in the North American market locally, there will be a minimal affect on dealers. Automobile plants in the United States will continue production through April 1, and there are concerns of certain part supply shortages from Japan, but Honda is working to alleviate that issue.
